Google Images new interface is on the way?

Since Google have not given any sign whether they going to test or announce a new function, many people tried to find out what is really going on with the Google Images.

Recently a new function came out of nowhere, and has been spotted by several users throughout the last week. The changes are not available (yet?), seems like Google only wanted to test a new user interface.

The old styled black border changed, so when clicking on the picture, it gets placed on the right side of the screen, and gets surrounded by a white background. It also gives search suggestions below the search area.

It seems like the testing process has not been finished in Google Images yet. We have to wait for the results until the final decision is made.
